Phillip Arnold of Brendons Auctioneers playing at Brentford

On Wednesday 7th May 2014, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust hosted a football tournament at the Brentford Football ground for all of the local partners involved in supporting their amazing community programmes. Brendons Auctioneers were delighted to be invited along and Phillip Arnold, our Auctioneer, did his bit up front as a striker for one of the teams.

Three squads were available for the night, with each team playing each other for a 60 minute game of two halves. Friends and family were there to cheer them on and some lucky sons and daughters were given an opportunity to play on the famous Brentford pitch during the half time sessions.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is in its 8th year and is fast becoming one of the leading providers of sports, education and career opportunities in West London. On their website they state "it is really about more than just football, we are about participation, inclusion and engagement offering a portfolio of programmes that educate, motivate, involve and inspire."

Brendons Auctioneers are in talks Lee Doyle, Chief Executive of the Trust and Luke Skelhorn, General Manager to find ways in which we can support their work within the West London area, either by contributing towards one of their future programmes or actively taking part in some of their projects.
