Brendons Corporate Golf Day

Brendons Auctioneers hosted it's fourth Corporate Golf Day at the Richings Park Golf Club near Iver, Buckinghamshire on Thursday 22nd May 2014.

Tuesday of that week was sunny, as was the Wednesday but the Thursday gave us thunder, lightning and very heavy rain. Despite the weather all groups were in good spirits and had teed off by 11.30am after coffee and bacon sandwiches .

The majority were game enough (or competitive enough?) to finish the excellent 18-hole course, whilst others had to abandon after 10 holes or so due to increasingly wet weather. Full handicap Stableford competition rules applied, with a longest drive and nearest the pin contest, followed by an Awards Ceremony and a three course lunch. The event was well attended by investors, local solicitors and local agents, as well as the regular team from Auction Finance with Mark Pretty once again amazing us with his golfing prowess and retaining his winning trophy - will he manage it again at the next one...?
